Welcome to the first edition of the Insider for 2009. We all want to put 2008 behind us and we hope you enjoyed welcoming in the New Year.

For all of our new customers and for our long term customer who may have forgotten, we would like to review all of the products that are available for purchase from Worldwide.

The following products are made in Worldwide's factory in Philadelphia:

  • Advanta Cellular Shades – This is our cellular shade cut down program which is available in 2 classic colors and 4 designer colors.
  • Cellular Shades – This is Worldwide's premier cellular shade program consisting of 3/8” and 9/16” light filtering and room darkening shades available in standard and specialty configurations.
  • 2” Faux Wood and Real Wood Blinds – Our faux wood collection is available in 10 colors, routless or standard, with or without decorative tape. Our real wood collection is available in 17 colors, also routless or standard, with or without decorative tape.
  • Vertical Blinds – We make both PVC and fabric verticals in 3-1/2” vane size and also 2” PVC verticals. All are made on the Decomatic track. Verta Sheer, which is our combination PVC vertical with sheer fabric to look like drapery, is also available from Worldwide and is also made on the Decomatic track.
  • Eclipse Shutters – This is a polyvinyl shutter which is waterproof, fire retardant, color fast, washable and has been designated “green” for environmental purposes, has been growing in popularity as a result of these features.

The following products are not made in our factory but are available for purchase from Worldwide:

  • 2” Horizontal PVC blinds in patterns available to match some of our PVC verticals.
  • Horizontal Aluminum blinds are available in ½”, 1” and 2” styles. Some of the 1” styles are available in 6 or 8 gauge and we also have a 1-1/2” contoured headrail available so a valance is not required. 
  • Woven Wood Shades available in a large variety of patterns and in standard configurations, as well as sliding panels and folding doors.
  • Roller Shades, which are really growing in popularity, available in a variety of patterns and colors and can be made on spring rollers or clutch rollers at no additional charge.
  • Roman Shades available in many patterns and colors which have the look of a soft window treatment for those customers who can't afford expensive drapery but want a product that looks like it.
  • Norman Shutters are also available for purchase through Worldwide. Please contact your sales representative or call Esther at the office if you are interested in additional information regarding this finely engineered window furniture.

Also remember that many of our products can be motorized, such as vertical blinds, cellular shades, 2” horizontal blinds and roller shades.
